erica yup, its me!!
Welcome back from your long hiatus! I was wonderin what ever happened to you. You should send me a PM the next time you have plans to kick it in Costa Mesa...maybe we'll go to lunch or something.
Funny thing, my son is getting his hair cut off by Mark today @ 5:30. He's been on the fence about cutting it for the last couple weeks, and decided to for sure today.
Donny would be the perfect star for "Westside Hawleywood Story", and I'd watch it!! haha
Marks a lover, not a fighter. He's a total "family guy" now. Sweet as they come.
or better yet, playing a game of chicken along the ortega highway.
I am a stylist. My dad still wheres the same well coifed pomp that he's been wearing for years. He's also been going to the same barber for 35 years. He has hair that sounds a lot like yours and he uses (i can't believe i'm suggesting this) VO5. Its like axel grease, haha. Its cheap grocery store stuff that you can actually use if you have a window that is jammed or if you have a sqeeky doorhinge. He combs his hair all the time and it always looks great and goes right back into the style.
If it is the hold you are having a problem with and you need more of a hold I would suggest a product called Welding, the brand is AG. Its kind of hard to find because its a newer line but it gives a lot of hold and works great.
Good Luck
HAHA!! OMG! We should do a doc on this! im down! i got the equipment. Who's with me?
No time to read all these posts when I'm a DROOLIN' over that old pick of young Joe Strummer (may he rest in peace)...Thank you Shelly Crash for sharing that and bringing back the memories.
If he looks cool now, imagine living in the year 1980 and enduring the "Foreigner" look (like, hairdos from the band "Foreigner"). Any guy who cut their hair back then looked so hot compared to the standard. Amen and hallelulia to the fine barbers of the world, especially the old farts in the hole in the wall with their bucket o' grease and their three-foot long hedge trimmers.
Amen.
Finally went to see Donny. Great barber shop. LayRite is by far the best Pomade I have ever tried. Thanks to Eric who first suggested it to me.
sorry, someone had to say it....
